Typical invoice line items in construction
Construction invoices follow the bill of quantities: earthworks, concrete, masonry as quantity items (m³, m²), plus site setup as a flat rate. Bill in progress invoices by stage and list all installments in the final invoice. For construction services between businesses, check whether reverse charge applies — then invoice without VAT.
E-invoicing & public contracts
Public construction contracts have long required e-invoicing — XRechnung to state and municipality is mandatory. DasHandwerk.xhub generates it automatically from your normal invoice.
