Typical invoice items in the painting trade
Painters bill by the square metre — the invoice should state the measurement per item (wall/ceiling area, coating build-up). Prep work such as masking, filling or priming belongs in as separate items, otherwise the square-metre price looks inflated. Show the labour share separately for private customers (§35a).
